Are you a dancer/choreographer who loves math or is passionate about nature? Apply for Cohesion Dance Project’s 2024 Artist Residency as a Guest Choreographer for its Spring 2024 performance exploration of Fractals in Nature!
Cohesion’s Artist Residency program supports innovative and engaging contemporary dance artists in the creative development of new work, from concept to final performance, and connects them with wider audiences through outreach, studio classes, and community engagement. The 2024 residency seeks an artist/choreographer interested in exploring movement inspired by fractals – either those found in nature or the mathematics behind them. The selected artist will collaborate with Cohesion’s Artistic Director and work with a diverse group of community and professional dancers to contribute choreography to the project.
This is a paid position and will be based in Helena, Montana from April to mid-May, 2024. Interested artists can find more information and the application link at cohesiondance.org.
