Ongoing Classes and Gatherings

Youth in grades 6-12 (or ages 12-18 years) who have a passion for dance, are invited to participate in a tuition-free dance program this fall at the acclaimed dance company and school Minnesota Dance Theatre (MDT), located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis.

October 3-December 15
Thursdays, 5:00-6:00pm and/or Saturdays 1:00-2:00pm

The CAN Dance program introduces youth to foundations of dance technique, creative movement, ballet, contemporary dance, modern, and hip hop, culminating in an in-studio showing for friends and family in December. Classes are taught by MDT’s distinguished faculty members and guest artists who aim to inspire and challenge students to achieve their best through classes designed to nurture artistry and self-confidence.

Students are provided with transportation, dance attire, and snacks. No prior dance experience is needed.

Application Deadline: September 20
Registration Deadline: October 1
