Crude Tuesday Seeks Performers

CRUDE TUESDAY spelled with yarn, button, and miscellaneous materials

Crude Tuesday is a new open performance platform for dance, movement, and experimentation. It is a space for community, spontaneous expression, love, and freedom. We host it on the unceded land of the Dakota and Anishinaabe people, and we are grateful for their stewardship of this land throughout the centuries and into the present day.

Crude Tuesday takes place on the third Tuesday of every month on the small but incredibly charming stage at Bryant Lake Bowl. Our next performance and gathering-date is March 21, and we still have some space left in the lineup for a few more performances.

We accept any kind of performance that explores movement. If you want to come and improvise on stage or show us a work-in-progress; if you are an experienced dance-maker or if you’d like to try performing for the first time, we welcome you. We ask only that you keep your performance time under 15 minutes.

Our first edition in February was a really sweet time, filled with joy, surprise, and inspiration.

Send an email to zoeque15@gmail.com and kendallmkramer@gmail.com if you’re interested, if you have any questions, or if you’d like to get involved. In order for us to be able to continue hosting this event, we need community involvement and support! You can also follow our new Instagram page @crudetuesdaympls

With much love,
Zoe and Kendall
