What is Coordi™It’s a movement study based on multiple kinetic patterns happening at once. Physical brain teasers combine with ballet for unexpected pathways and alignments that challenge both your mind and body! Learn more about Coordi™ here.

Drop in for a jazz class in a safe, inclusive environment. Whether you’re just starting your dance journey or want to brush up on the basics, we welcome you to class.

Creative Movement 1: Pre-K, Ages: 3-5. Monday or Tuesday offerings, 4:30-5:15pm

Dance a Story: Creative Movement and Storytelling for ages 4-7
Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-12:00pm. Tuition: $150
Explore movement with a focus on storytelling. 5 sessions. Session 2: July 8-11 is designed for neurodivergent youth and individuals who may be sensitive to stimulation.

Camps for Ages 8-18
Explore several dance genres and real-world applications in the morning, afternoon, or full-day. Full-day dancers will have a supervised lunch break. Session 3: July 22–25 offers an additional camp for dancers with Down Syndrome.

Morning Camps: Monday-Thursday, 9:00-11:30am. Tuition: $150
Afternoon Camps: Monday-Thursday, 12:00-4:30pm. Tuition: $250

Dancing with Wheels for ages 11+
Wednesdays, 5:00–6:00pm. Tuition: $150 or with a class card.
Build dance skills and express yourself through movement for youth and adults with wheeling devices.

All Abilities Dancing for ages 18+
Wednesdays, 6:30–7:30pm. Tuition: $150 or with a class card.
Express yourself while you explore the elements of dance and develop skills in improvisation and collaboration. For adults with and without disabilities.

Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theatre: In-Person Spring Session Classes

Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theatre is thrilled to welcome you back for our winter/spring sessions! These in-person sessions run through June 1, 2024. The first class is free for new students. A ballet teacher with 35+ years of experience teaching all levels and ages, Lisa’s welcoming ballet classes naturally guide students in refining their alignment, balance, and technique, while also discovering the value and importance of the use of weight in their dancing. Coupled with individual attention, feedback, and humor, students experience expansion and growth in body and mind – and experience joy in the process!

Students are encouraged to expect success and mistakes! Only when we allow ourselves to take chances and risk failure can we grow to our full potential. Every student is special, different, important, appreciated, encouraged, respected, unique, invited, and welcome. Come play and see for yourself!

Classes and Events at Communal Studio

Communal Studio is a collective space for the community to rent and offer classes, workshops, and events.

The space is 1200 square feet including a spacious entryway with coat hooks and shoe storage, a 629 square foot studio with dimmable lights, ceiling fans, mirrors on 2 walls and barres on 3 walls, a sound system with aux jack, and a back area with a bathroom, storage room, 2 sinks, and a mini fridge – plus free covered parking!
