TU Dance Center: Dancing Together – April 19 to June 5

Dancing Together
Offered virtually.

A child and parent/caregiver creative movement class. This virtual workshop is designed for children (ages two through four) and their parent/caregiver who are interested in a shared movement experience that engages the senses of curiosity and play. Both child and caregiver will participate in developmentally appropriate movement exercises that incorporate elements such as effort, shape, and tempo. Music will play an essential role in the class as students will be asked to respond to sounds as well as make sounds themselves. This class will give children and caregivers the opportunity to learn more about themselves and one another through the art form of dance.

Session 2: April 19-June 5, six weeks. No class on May 29.
Monday, 11:00-11:45am
Saturday, 10:00-10:45am

Doushin Butoh Experience Workshop

This one-day workshop is for people who want a first-time experience of Doushin Butoh. The essence of Doushin Butoh is “resonance,” an experience beyond idea or concept that can only be felt. In this class, students are guided in simple repetitive movements that we call “conditioning.” As students you will be guided into a movement meditation and experience the connection between your body, mind and the universe.

Come and experience the power of Resonance!

Next Doushin Butoh Experience: Tuesday, April 20, 12:30pm-2:00pm Central Time US

Tuition: $20
