Hi Everybody,
We are Crude Tuesday, an open performance platform and community gathering-space for dancing, movement, and experimentation. Phew, that was a mouthful.
We are welcoming people who want to perform as well as actively looking for people who want to perform. You can do whatever you want – a work-in-progress, an improvisation, a solo, a duet, anything, so long as movement is an aspect of it. The stage is small (9×22), but the theater is cute and you can eat chili and drink kombucha and bowl and other fun stuff. It’s a fun place, and it’s also so amazing and special to witness each performer in their uniqueness.
If you want to perform, please don’t hesitate to contact us and sign up for a slot. Sometimes, all an artist needs is a deadline and a little bit of courage!
The next dates are Tuesdays, April 18; May 30; June 20; and July 18.
We want this to be a supportive community-space: if you need help talking through your idea, finding rehearsal space, or anything else to help you get up onto that stage, please reach out to us! No need to be shy, this is what we want to do.
If you want to provide support, please do! Support can look like providing valuable resources to performers and aspiring performers; providing mentorship; spreading the word; and encouraging friends and fellow citizens to perform if they want to, whatever ‘performance’ means to them (it can mean many things).
