Highland Park High School Seeks New Dance Teacher

Highland Park High School, an International Baccalaureate school, is looking for a new dance teacher!

This is currently a part-time position teaching two dance classes — a Beginning/Intermediate and an IB Dance class. Beginning/Intermediate class is one semester for grades 9-12 and the IB class is a 1-2 year class for grades 11-12. Both classes cover elements of choreography and performance as well as explorations of multiple dance styles. The IB class also participates in the IB Testing regimen, including performance, research and choreography. This is a rewarding opportunity to bring dance to students’ daily academic studies.

The current teacher, Matthew Keefe, can provide resources and guidance as needed for the incoming teacher. Resources have also been archived in the school systems for easy access. For more information and inquiries, please contact principal Winston Tucker — Winston.tucker@spps.org. Other questions, please contact Matthew Keefe at meadowroad@gmail.com.

Deadline: January 1, 1970
