Auditions, Jobs, and Certifications

Lanesboro Arts invites Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color (BIPOC) artists in Minnesota to apply for the Lanesboro Arts BIPOC Artist Residency Program. This personally tailored, stipend-supported residency program offers the opportunity for support and open access to Lanesboro Arts and Lanesboro Area facilities, personnel, and natural environment.

Applications are due by 11:59pm on Friday, August 1.

Residencies will happen between October 2025-April 2026. There are 12 weeks of residencies available to distribute for this year’s program. The artist may select either one or two weeks. The residency offers a weekly stipend of $1,250 to cover food and other costs while in residence. Artists can receive an additional $500 for supplies if working on a creative project. There is no output or product required for this residency. However, there is one community share-back opportunity required, which could be a community workshop, school visit, small gathering, or blog post.
