Collide Theatrical Mentorship Program

2023/2024 Mentorship Program, September 2023–May 2024

Collide Theatrical’s Mentorship Program is a beginning/intermediate-level adult intensive program designed to strengthen basic dance technique in a safe and inclusive environment.

This is a 9-month training program with 3 trimesters (September-November, December-February, and March-May). Interested dancers must sign up for a minimum of 3 months, or 1 trimester. Those who commit to the entire 9-month program will receive discounted monthly tuition and a chance to perform in a culminating showcase performance at the end of the program.

Mentorship Program participants (Mentees) will take technique class 3 days a week. The technical classes include a variety of styles rooted in ballet and jazz, but might also include tap, acting for dance, hip hop, and more. Mentees will also have an opportunity to participate in master classes with Broadway touring dance captains and industry professionals. Classes take place Monday/Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm, starting Wednesday, September 6. Mentees can choose to attend one of our morning classes (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30-11:00am) as their third weekly class option.

Participants must be over the age of 16. Enrollment is open to anyone who is committed to improving their dance technique and serious about growing as a performer; however, space is limited.

Instructors include Collide Company Dancers Nathan Huberty, Renee Guittar, Patrick Jeffrey, and Brittany Brown, as well as Artistic Director Regina Peluso and Collide Associate Director Heather Brockman. Master classes will be announced this fall.
