Seeking Paid Extras for Dance Film

REFUGE, a film by Jennifer Arave
Shoot date: August 14 in Northeast Minneapolis

Set 100 years in the future, REFUGE contemplates a radically changed world after environmental and technological collapse. The world’s citizens have become climate nomads forced to leave their homes in search of places where they can find shelter, food, water, and safety. In this world, nomads travel by night, and wear hoods to shield them from the errant satellites signaling to digital implants within their brains.

Casting 15 extras for the dance film REFUGE. No dance experience needed (it is a plus), must be comfortable with active movements (walking, arms over head, laying on ground). Okay to adapted movement if needed. Looking for diverse representations of identities. Looking for BIPOC, ages 18 and older, prefer 55-80. A variety of body types, abilities, gender identities and national identities are very much encouraged to apply. Paid, meal/snacks included.

To apply send, a bio and photo to groundbreakerlabs@gmail.com by August 11.
