Collide Theatrical is holding general auditions for their 2022/2023 performance season, starting in August 2022 and running through May 2023.

Collide is a professional dance company with a mission to tell narrative stories through movement. Seeking classically trained jazz dancers with strong ballet technique. Acting skills a must. Additional backgrounds in tap, hip hop, and acro a plus. All roles are paid, $15-$20/hour DOE and $75-$100 per performance.

We’re hiring! The Cowles Education team seeks exceptional dance educators for the summer of 2022 and 2022/23 school year. The Cowles’ premier dance workshops and residencies are taught in-person and virtually across North America. Cowles Center Teaching Artists are professional dancers, choreographers, and experienced educators who use innovative approaches to bring dance into classrooms and community spaces through our Arts in Education programs. 

Compensation range: $100 per session plus additional stipends for planning, meetings, paid professional development, and more.

Neighborhood Dances is seeking performers to join us for rehearsals and shows in June, July and early August.

Join us for our second year as we spread joy, blessings and healing through dance while acknowledging God as our higher perspective and hope. Last year we were able to dance in six different venues and share joy among different communities.

At least three years of dance experience required in any of the following: modern, jazz, hip hop, lyrical/ballet, rhythm or flags with sections for ASL and multiple abilities. Professionalism, improvisational skills, commitment and willingness to work within a group are essential. Please be prepared to share performance links.

This year we are able to offer payment for rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals are once a week for two hours with extra practices the week before each performance. Performance dates are June 25 in Afton, August 7 in Shoreview, and others TBA throughout the summer.

Ballet Co.Laboratory is currently seeking an Interim School Manager for The School of Ballet Co.Laboratory.

This leadership position will work in conjunction with Ballet Co.Laboratory’s Artistic and Managing Directors to lead the artistic and administrative duties for the School. The Interim School Manager will curate curriculum, manage school staffing/scheduling, build enrollment, oversee student involvement in productions, and serve as the lead communicator for all school activities. This position also works alongside the Performance Ensemble Director and Outreach Manager to create community engagement performances.

AMP is looking for dynamic and expressive movers for projects as part of our upcoming 2022-23 season. We are seeking passionate, authentic, and curious movers who want to work collaboratively, immerse and challenge themselves with a wide range of material, and continue their artistic development through working with a variety of artists. If this is you, come Move BIG with AMP!

Ideal candidates to join our community of artists should have a strong sense of your individual/unique movement point of view and possess an inquisitive and investigative nature rooted in community-building. All genders, races, and ethnicities are welcome and encouraged to audition.

Alternative Motion Project serves as a catalyst to empower and connect individuals and communities through the art of contemporary dance. AMP presents accessible, compelling, and collaborative dance experiences through performance and education programs.

Movers selected as Company Members will be independent contractors. Stipends will be contracted based on the amount of time and involvement within each project and performance. Benefits also include free weekly movement practice, when offered.

Video submissions will be accepted if you cannot attend. Video clips should include both performance and improvisational movement. Please submit a Vimeo link (no longer than 5 minutes) by 11:59pm on Thursday, June 9 through the Registration Form. Submissions received after this deadline may not be considered. Those who submit video auditions, please regularly check your email for a schedule availability survey.

The School of Ballet Co.Laboratory is currently accepting Teaching Artist applications for the 2022/23 school year. 

Classes are instructed using Ballet Co.Laboratory’s curriculum/syllabus. Join us to mentor, empower, and inspire the future of dance.
