National Tap Dance Day 2024 Festival

Each year, Keane Sense of Rhythm engages the community by organizing an annual National Tap Dance Day festival.  The event showcases the wide range of skills and styles of percussive dance in and around the Twin Cities.

National Tap Dance Day features performances by KSR’s Youth Tap Ensemble, as well as performances from students and dance studios around the metro.

The 2024 event will be held on Saturday, May 25, at Como Park Pavilion. This event is free to attend! See amazing tap dancing – and take part in our programming!

Free Tappy Hour Classes: 1:00-2:00pm. For both kids and adults!
Performances: 2:00-5:00pm

We invite area tap groups to perform with us – seeking local talent to perform in honor of National Tap Dance Day! There is a small fee to participate. Proceeds from the event go towards our operating expenses and our arts programming in St. Paul Public Schools.

Donors include The Dakota, Mancini’s, Discount Dance, Shamrocks, Northrup Dance, Total Wine and Walmart.

Volunteers are needed for our three days of event programming. Sign up today!
