Join Concerto Dance for April Class Offerings

This month Concerto Dance is offering classes:

Saturday, April 20
Teen and Adult Open Jazz, 9:00-10:00am – $15
Advanced Jazz, 10:00-11:30am – $20
This month’s focus is on Broadway Jazz.

Open Company Class
Wednesday, April 24: Advanced Modern, 9:00-10:15am – $20
Friday, April 26: Advanced Jazz, 9:00-10:15am – $20

All classes: Drop-ins welcome! No pre-registration required.
First-time participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver.
Class fee can be paid via cash, check, or Venmo.

Studio Rentals at Collide Theatrical in St. Paul

Need space to rehearse, choreograph, teach, or hold an event? Collide Theatrical has two studios available for rental in our beautiful St. Paul location. Evening and weekend availability!

Studio 1 has 1200 square feet of sprung floor, full wall-length mirrors, Rosco Adagio Marley dance floor, high ceilings, skylights, and 3 chandeliers.
Studio 2 has 450 square feet of sprung wood floor.

Both studios have the following amenities:

  • Ballet barres for up to 18 students
  • Free and accessible parking and access to public transportation line
  • Gender-specific bathrooms (non-gender-specific bathroom available in the adjacent building)
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth room speakers
  • 2 folding tables
  • Access to up to 30 folding chairs
  • Microwave and small refrigerator
  • HVAC heated and cooled spaces with temperature control
  • Hallway drinking fountains

Single Rental: 
Studio 1 – $30/hour
Studio 2 – $20/hour

Long-Term or Multiple-Day Rental: 
Studio 1 – $20/hour
Studio 2 – $15/hour

Payment for rental bookings must be made 48 hours prior to your booking to hold your reservation. A signed rental agreement and certificate of insurance must be provided prior to your reservation. Please contact us at 651-395-7903 or grace@collidetheatrical.org to schedule a visit.

Advanced Drop-In Classes with Collide

Join us for class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30am for intermediate/advanced ballet, advanced jazz, and Collide Barre with the company.

Heather Brockman will teach Intermediate-Advanced Ballet on April 22, and Regina Peluso will teach Jazz on April 24.

Teachers and classes on a rotating schedule.
Pre-registration is required.

Class Rates
Adult Drop-Ins: $20 per class or $180 for a 10-class pass. Good for either ballet, jazz, or Collide Barre; must be used within 6 months.
Professional Dancers: $18 per class. Email grace@collidetheatrical.org for a discount code.

Our space is located in the Can Can Wonderland building in St. Paul. Parking is free in front of the building (the BLUE lot is closest to our space), in the lots across the street, and in the underground parking garage – follow the Can Can Wonderland arrow.

Creo Arts & Dance Conservatory Adult Summer Drop-In Classes

Join us for our ballet, jazz and contemporary adult classes in a joyful and safe environment at Creo Arts and Dance Conservatory in Minnetonka. You can expect a high energy class with motivational dance artists that are experts in their craft!

South Minneapolis Studio Available for Rent

The Sabathani Community Center in south Minneapolis has a dance studio available for hourly rental. The studio space includes mirrors, ballet barres, and hardwood floor. The building includes security and free parking.

Studio dimensions: 39′ x 23′ x 9′

Hourly Rates:
Rehearsals, photo shoots — $15
Classes, auditions — $20

Available for rent Monday through Friday, 7:00am-9:00pm and Saturdays, 10:00am and 4:00pm. Closed Sundays.

The Arena – Space for Rent

Located in the heart of the Lyn-Lake community, The Arena is available for your rehearsal, class, and event needs!

Our space offers:
1,305 square feet (30×40) of sprung, Marley dance flooring.
Wall-length mirrors with curtains.
Changing room.
Access to multiple bus lines, including the 21, 4, 23, 612, and 18.

Hourly rates range from $17-$25, with discounts/special offerings available to BIPOC and LGBTQIA2+ communities. Inquire for savings.

Studios for Rent at Ballet Co.Laboratory

Come create at Ballet Co.Laboratory. Our artistic home is available for hourly rentals to independent artists and arts organizations. Book a single day to work on your artistry, secure a month to rehearse a show, or facilitate your weekly programming here – the choice is yours! We look forward to collaborating with you on your space needs.

Public Transportation
The studio is accessible via the Greenline into downtown Saint Paul and the 71A or 71B bus.

Free Parking
Free parking is available in front of the studio.

Facility
We have five studios at Ballet Co.Laboratory with sprung floors, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and barres, plus four gender-neutral restrooms, changing rooms, and comfortable lobby space with Wi-fi access and ample seating. The entire facility is HVAC heated and cooled.

Studio 1: 25′ x 50′ – 15-person capacity – $20/hour
Studio 2: 25′ x 50′ – 15-person capacity – $20/hour
Studio 3: 25′ x 30′ – 8-person capacity – $15/hour
Studio 4: 42′ x 50′ – 30-person capacity – Rental available via special request
Studio 5: 25′ x 28′ – 8-person capacity – $15/hour

Rent the Young Dance Studios

Young Dance has two large studios available for rent in the Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul. Easily accessible by the Green Line light rail, the 16 and 67 Bus Lines, and with ample parking in the Fairview Business Center parking lot. The space is fully ADA accessible, with ramps to the sprung studio floor and automatic door openers.

Rentals are currently available:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8:00am–4:00pm
Tuesday, 11:00am–4:00pm
Friday, 111:00am–4:00pm and 6:30–9:00pm
Saturday, 3:00–9:00pm
Sunday, 8:00am–3:00pm

The studios are newly equipped with sprung Harlequin Marley flooring, a Bluetooth speaker system, and wifi. A projector with AV adapters is available by request. Studio 2 has ballet barres and a mirror. The studio has a clear COVID safety plan, including regular disinfecting of all floors and surfaces and a new HVAC system that refreshes the air 7-8 times per hour.

Studio 1: Measures 41′ x 38′ and rents at $25/hour
Studio 2: Measures 38′ x 38′ and rents at $20/hour
