This January Floorwork will focus on Minnesota dance history! Walk through the Minnesota Dance Roots exhibit at the Performance Arts Archives and stay for questions and conversation assisted by Deborah Ultan and other guests. Come share your story.
Tuesday, January 16
5:30-7:00pm
The Performing Arts Archive at the Anderson Library.
RSVP is appreciated – please do so by January 12.
Floorwork: a communal conversation and shared meal. Floorwork was developed to hold conversations, knowledge-sharing, and a supportive space for dance artists and people who like to move.
Attendees are asked to fill out a new RSVP form for each monthly Floorwork event.
Conversation will be held over a communal meal – bring your own dish to share in our potluck!
ARENA DANCES will supply beverages, plates, napkins, and utensils.
The collection and walk-through is at Andersen Library. University parking lot C86 is the closest parking facility and sits directly northwest of Andersen Library. Our host, Deborah Ultan, will be at the West entrance to let everyone in. If you park in lot C86, you’ll need to go up the stairs to the entrance which faces the campus and the Washington Avenue Bridge. Follow this link for detailed driving directions.
