Friday Morning Jazz: In-Person AND on Zoom with Karla This Week

Join us for Friday Morning Jazz through Zenon, in person or online!

This summer, Friday Morning Jazz has shifted into a hybrid format this session! You can register to be one of the ten in-person, masked, socially-distanced students to dance in Zenon Studio 4A, or you can Zoom into class from anywhere. Class runs 10:00-11:15am CST most Fridays.

Co-teachers Karla Grotting and Erinn Liebhard, along with Zenon, are taking great care to ensure that both the in-person and Zoom options will be high-quality, so join us! This week, Karla is teaching, and as always, will offer a history-infused, music-based jazz class starting with a body-friendly warm-up.

To find out more about Friday Morning Jazz, visit our Facebook group linked below.
To dance in-person, register by 9:00am the Friday morning of class.
To dance with us via Zoom, register by 9:50am.
Both types of registrations can be done at zenondance.org.

Our passion is Argentine tango. Queer Tango is to dance Argentine tango without regard to the traditional heteronormative roles of the dancers, and often to exchange the leader and follower roles. Therefore it is related to open role or same-sex tango. The queer tango movement permit an access to tango for the LGBTQ+ community and also supports female leaders and male followers, regardless of orientation.
